The Green Party
In 2013, I was working as an ecology educator and barista in my native Waterford. One day, the phone rang. The person on the other end said "This is Eamon Ryan". I thought it was a prank call and nearly didn't believe my ears.
What followed was a journey into the Green Party that led me into running for Europe first in 2014, and then for the Dáil in 2016. While I was unsuccessful in both of these attempts, in 2016 I was then a surprise electee to Seanad Éireann, where I sat as the sole Green Party Senator alongside my colleagues in the Civil Engagement Group.
I worked alongside Eamon Ryan and Catherine Martin within the Oireachtas, where we achieved significant wins despite being a small delegation in opposition.
In 2019 I again ran for the Party in the European Elections where I was successful in being elected.
I serve as the Party's Spokesperson for the Marine and liaise closely with Green Party Ministers and Spokespeople on various issues.
